They peep before they pop!

Here is a factoid for you... baby ducks start peeping in their shells before they pop out!

Our momma duck, Dash, is sitting on 5 lovely eggs. This morning I picked her up off her nest and took her outside so she could stretch her wings. When I went back to cover up the eggs to keep them warm while she was gone... I heard peeping! Its amazing! Sometimes it takes a while for the baby ducks to hatch all the way out but by tomorrow there will be little ones running around.
